California... well represented in the Big Apple

Treyce and Cole (Carson students), Shavonn (Bellflower student) and Jarrell (Lynwood student) take a forward glance at the Statute of Liberty. They are seen here on a ferry to Ellis Island. New York City, with its World Trade Center Towers, is in background.  Also on the ferry are Lauren, Carson student; Jarrett (Inglewood student); James, Downey student; Doctor Cheryl Browne of Kaiser Hospital, a Volunteer Professional Tutor of Carson; Eddie Gayle McAlpin, Chaperon of Dominguez Hills; Cleophas McAlpin, Rancho Dominguez (Director and Tutor). Who was in doubt that we would visit N.Y.?

"At last, we get to see the Statute of Liberty. Thank you, Mr. Joseph Fatt, for financially helping me to make this trip. I will be forever grateful to friends such as you. You made a dream come true. Please visit our website for more pictures such as this one."...(Jarrell, 13-year old "A" student)
Two happy "Ladies of America"...Shavonn and the Statute of Liberty.
