November 27, 2006... Monday

New Students: Antwanne (17 from Banning High) and Gregory (16 from Gardena High)

Students present: Shalay, Antwanne, Gregory, Gynaa, Tonesha, Katelynn

Tonesha and I worked one-on-one when she arrived from King Drew Magnet School. Thank you, Eddie Gayle, for picking her up and bringing her over. The worksheet dealt with graphing inequalities, namely 3 equations to find the vertices of the  polygon formed by the inequalities, and the maximum and minimum of F (x,y).

We also did homework involved in solving a system of 3 equations: with a few word problems thrown is to boot.

Gynaa (17) and I worked on the High School Exit Examination, math portion. Antwanne worked with her for more than 2 hours! Thank you, Antwanne, you are a blessing to all of us. Antwanne has already passed the high school exit examination in math!

Gregory's mother (Rhoshanda (spelling?) and I discussed the Tutoring Program and her son's entrance into the Service. He will join us on tomorrow for Geometry assistance, as well as assistance in the Spanish Language. Karesha and Gregory attend Gardena High and should know each other. They will become more acquainted as they work together on Geometry at Gardena High!

I completed a couple of problems for Tonesha and will meet her on tomorrow morning to give them to her and to discuss the solutions. We will meet at 7:00AM near to King Drew Magnet School.......Oh, Oh, It is time to go and meet her!
