Tonesha and I have been working with the Periodic Table of the Elements. We have discussed the distribution of electrons in "energy shells". I believe Tonesha understands more about the Periodic Table now, since she can tell which elements are inert (Noble Gases), and which are the Halogens (cleaners). She understands the "grouping of the elements" according to the electrons in the outer orbits. Group One: With only one electron in the outer orbit....Hydrogen, Lithium, Sodium....etc....This ring known as the "K" ring, or the very first ring near to the nucleus of the atom.
