Description: Cleophas (55+ years of age) and son, Kenneth, share moments during a 26.2 mile Los Angeles Marathon. Cleophas relaxes before beginning a Chinese 10-K run through the streets of Chinatown near downtown Los Angeles. Cleophas pounds the streets of Los Angeles during one of 7 Los Angeles Marathons. Cleophas finishes in spite of the heavy downpour (4-inches) all day long. The 26.2 mile journey through city streets. Somewhere along the course. Eddie Gayle (55+ years of age) completes a 26.2 mile marathon with much fun and fanfare: it became awfully tortuous from mile 18 through the finish at mile 26.2. Eddie Gayle completed the marathon, which shows that the human spirit can overpower any thoughts of giving up. Eddie Gayle thought about giving up in the midst of her aching body, but she persevered and she came out victorious. God had deemed that it be so!
