A Teacher - Parent Relationship...what a blessing. Mrs. Saadi, Chemistry teacher at a West Los Angeles Charter School, is ideally suited for her job. He is a dedicated and caring teacher, paying special attention to all of her students: I, along with a parent (Blue Jogging Suit), were last to serve as Judges in her Science Fair. She thanked me...and thanked me again....several times for making the students feel at ease. Of course, I told them "how nervous I was"  for being a judge. Most ate this up, relaxed and did a great job. I also interjected my physical fitness routine, as one student project dealt with using Gat-a-ade to charge an IPOD! I joked that I could use such an invention, and would join forces to "conquer the world with riches made". I interjected my IPOD music whenever I got a chance...letting them know of T-Pain,  Alicia Keyes, Loon, Black-Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Biance, Keri Hilson, and Snoop Doggy Dog....and Miley Cirus....The seemed in a state of Shock!  suppose I extended the Project by lecturing the students a little to much......They were not going to get away with telling me.....this salt water, with a battery attached can blow up a balloon....They had to hear my lecture on the "Electrolysis of Water", where the water molecule is split into hydrogen and oxygen, with an electrical current flowing through a salt water solution...because the ions were capable of  conducting electrons from a battery source. I told them of my days as a 10-year old in Alabama....when I used my father's carbide powder to produce a gas, hydrogen....inflating balloons with notes....to travel hundreds of miles across  the U.S!

I believe I spoke on Thermodynamics when  a student said.....Hot water would freeze faster than cold water....and used the Metric System of Measurements....that quickly egged him into "conversion devices" to convert to the English System. I always ended with a hearty laugh...as it was genuine fun for me!!! ! Thank You, Mrs. Saadi, I really had a great time. It is so gratifying to have students lecture me.....after 12 long years of me lecturing them....in my "A Free Tutoring Service: Preparing for the Future"! As am added note....Since Ronald (13) of Carnegie Middle School...can't get it through his head that I am serious.....I SUSPENDED HIM FROM THIS TUTORING SERVICE.....FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS. IF HE STILL REFUSES TO HAVE ALL TEACHERS FILL OUT MY  "DAILY PROGRESS REPORT"...HE IS GONE FOR GOOD! Tutoring is ongoing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.....As tired as I am at times.....I have learned to "suck it up" and continue on....this, the strangest journey....transforming the all F student into the all A student!
