Students in attendance on this Saturday.....Destiny; Ronald; Ebony; Christine; Tim'an and Dasia...Ebony, Tim'an and Christine...visited the La Brea Tar Pits (click) and Page Museum...after a morning of tutoring.

Visiting the La Brea Tarpits and Page Museum: Tim'an, Christine and Ebony, took off on their own to discover the treasuries of the Area. 40,000 years ago, the area was chock full of Saber Toothed Tigers, Sloths, Wolves and Mastodons. Some got stuck in the sticky tar in the area, and were excavated to reveal life during this time in Los Angeles'  history. This mid-Wilshire area gives up its secrets as workers busily clean fossils, stitching them together to wow the best of us!
