Director of  "A Free Tutoring Service.....Cleophas Mike McAlpin.  So far as the "Free Tutoring Service"  goes....We are right here!  

Occasionally, I visit schools and speak to Principals and Teachers about my need to assist one of their students. I have visited no less than 50 schools throughout the Los Angeles basin. Sometimes I am greeted with total kindness, while sometimes I am treated like the  "scum of the earth".  I wondered how I would be treated at....this Middle School...in Carson, California, on this Day, February 5, 2010.

It was raining outside when I arrived at 7:30 AM. I was dressed in the outfit shown above, and I thought myself to be looking sharp, with my gold watch, bracelet, and gold and diamond rings. I usually "dress up" when attending some schools, and that gives me a "heads up" on what usually follows my visit. Sometimes, the office personnel take offense to me, never speaking but with sharp tongues and tones! Why? I have yet to figure that one out. Let me assure all, that I really dislike visiting schools, but when it becomes necessary to assist a failing student, I put aside my bias, and take care of business!

I would rate this school "mediocre" when it comes to greeting people. There was a B, who treated me decently, when others seemed to hate the fact that it was raining outside and sought to take some kind of anger out on me. They never spoke words of  "hello", only those words, "What are you doing here"?...and the command to "follow me"...or  sign this or sign that! Such harsh words roll off me when I enter some schools, as I am able to detect a dislike of someone like me....even as I leave my vehicle! And it is not my imagination that some schools office workers must take classes in kindness and politeness, and I might be one to teach them. The Assistant Principal is a wonderful human being, who took time from his busy schedule to  hear me out. He printed out the names of  Teachers and directed me to their e-mail addresses. Thank You, Kind Sir.

I would rather interact with the school system via Teacher-Web, or E-mail or by telephone...but I really dislike going to any school, and asking to sit for a few minutes in a classroom. Why? There is too much negativism connected to my school visitations. For example, an English teacher in the Office, told me " You can come to the class, but you can't speak to your student!"   Oh, really? I never speak to a student; I sit and listen and observe my student...and gauge his ability to comprehend that which is being taught. I never stay longer than 5 minutes! As I have a lot of things to do. It is enough the let the failing student know.......that I am on his case....and all of the games are coming rapidly....to an end. My student will now feel what it is like to study mega-hours per week with me.....shutting out all social functions....until each and every grade is reversed.....and all "A" grades stand in their place! So, Teachers, have no fear of me; I only want to know your plans for the future with regards to Ronald, my student. Tell me about your lesson plans, and your upcoming quizzes and examinations, and your path to greater knowledge. That is all that I ask you to do...and if it matters...I really don't care if I am liked or disliked....My Steps are ordered by God on High, and not man! A student will improve his grades like so many others in the past....And I have prayed on it....and it is already done!  Amen!  You will receive correspondence from me over the next few days, and I am asking you kindly......to  let me in on the student's educational life at this Middle School. To do less , is not highly recommended!
