Congratulations, My sister, on your graduation from Middle School on this day, June 21, 2006...from Ne-Ne: Let me present a Profile of my big sister! Sorry, my grandfather, Mr. Mike, says he wants to do it! I will have a few words to say, though!

"To know her is to love her": That is my motto as I travel these "terrible two's! I have a nickname I call her when I am in trouble with the bathroom or any other crisis situation (Ya-Ya). She always comes to my rescue, and everyone knows how I feel about her: Simply speaking...I love her very much and so will you when you get to know her through this website profile! To know her is to love her....etc, etc, etc, etc, etc!...Ne-Ne

I guess Shalay was lucky or unlucky, however you want to put it, that she is the grand daughter of the Executive Director of "A Free Tutoring Service", Cleophas Mike McAlpin. Shalay is constantly pounded with that "get in shape or else rhetoric": "Mister Mike" not only had her walking 3-5 miles every morning, he lectured her as they walked! Mr. Mike said that eased the sore muscles; when the brain is trying to do "thermodynamics on the speed- walk", the mind forgets all about the pain in the knees!  "We will do the Los Angeles Marathon" is Mr. Mike's constant reminder to "get in shape or else".

Now take a look at my cousin, Reggie Bush... Another exercise person! Got him the Heisman Trophy Award, though.  Shalay goes bananas when he is playing a football game! "Run! Run! Reggie", she always hollers: forgetting all about that Conservation of Momentum problem Mr. Mike had given her to figure out! 

Now that's Granny holding little Shalay: Then that's Pop-Pop and his brother, Aubry; Tyneesha has snuck into the family as a granddaughter; There's Granny and other relatives on the right.  Shalay is "all that" when it comes to a wonderful teen. She is first of all, a Christian, having been baptized a few months ago. She is a very caring person; she wants all to be happy, even at the expense of her own happiness. Shalay is loved by all, because she is lovable: giving instead of receiving; wanting very little for herself; not being envious or jealous if another teen has an IPOD or Cell Phone or fine jewelry. Shalay will become a great leader in the Human Race, because she has leadership qualities. She does have one or two flaws, as I searched and searched for some; one is that she hates to lose at anything, especially when she does not understand the Algebra or Physics or other Science. She is hesitant to ask for assistance for some unknown reason; she would rather get the job done all by herself, even when it means she will fail! My biggest problem with her is to get her to ask for assistance when she really needs it. 

God! Thank you for Shalay! Could you please send a thousand more my way? She brings such a smile upon my face! I can't hardly wait to be in her presence. I intend on spoiling her in every way I can. Sorry, all of the other relatives: Eat your heart out! While you are waiting for the perfect teen-family-member, I have truly found one...and I will not let go of her for any reason....because I really and truly....love her!
