A "Dynamic Duo of Will and Determination" to elevate the grade point averages of all students, the underprivileged, as well as the well- to- do! Mariko and Cleophas McAlpin have been the best of friends for over 20 years! Mariko is a graduate of Cal Polytechnic Institute. Her office is placing into effect "remote metering" and other innovations with regards to electrical metering. Mariko and Cleophas worked as a team when Cleophas was an active employee with the Los Angeles Department of  Water and Power: They remain a team today.....the mission has changed....that's all! 

Cleasena (15) (right) is a student in A Free Tutoring Service. She is shown here sitting at Mariko Marianes' desk. It was good for Cleasena to get the feeling of being an Electrical Engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
