The focus was on basic math and science; Students are beginning to pour in and we are ready for them!

Week One in our new location is over. There were many accomplishments: The students honed their basic math skills, paying particular attention to fractions and  Times Tables . I am satisfied the students are responding in the manner I desired: intensity and dedication in knowing about fractions......finally.  I used Kahmya and Brianna to assist the younger students. I reminded all students that this was indeed a Tutoring Program and not an after school one. Any students walking through the door would be subjected to learning first, and fun later. Two hours of Tutoring and fifteen minutes of fun.

Sean was introduced to the graphing of straight lines...in less than 10 seconds. For this is the end result of intense tutoring on how to graph straight lines! Each and every 9th grader will do lines in less than 10 seconds.......or we will eat our hats!
