Lesson Review...October 18, 2000 (and Examination for October 19th and October 22, 2000..after Homework from school.)
3:30PM-9:00PM Do you dare to take this Examination?
It was a very long tutoring day and more of the same. Asia, Deandre, Cleasena, Sheena, Jarrell, Shavonn, Jeremiah, James and Michael...all doing homework...all receiving homework help and all listening to my lectures.
Asia's homework dealt with Algebra. Michael and Jarrell's dealt with Biology. Sheena's dealt with Physics. Spanish Language homework proliferated the family room. It was of no use to cry about it. We all buckled down to do homework. Shavonn went to the Internet to research Isabella 1, the Catholic. I assisted her with a report for Inglewood High School. Asia needed to know more about positive and negative numbers for Drew Magnet School. I worked several Algebra problems with her. Deandre needed someone to help solve his Algebra problems and I assisted with them. He also needed someone to critique a poem that he had written as homework. Sheena needed her play critiqued. James and Jeremiah were sent to the computers to critique CD-ROM educational disks. James' was a Biology disk and Jeremiah's was a Physical Science disk. Each of the students had to review the CD-ROM and report its contents. An examination of my own design will follow this tutoring day and it is meant to reinforce all that has been discussed over these last two weeks. Some of the examination questions have been taken from actual homework.
